     Overall, both tablets are truly outstanding. Depending on your needs, your choice may be one or the other. For example, if you are wanting a completely customizable experience, choose the Google Nexus 7 because Android is known to have more customizable aspects in their products than Apple. If you're looking for a sturdy tablet strictly for business, you may want to lean more toward the Ipad Mini. 

     Screen resolution between the tablets differs greatly. The Nexus 7 has a 323 ppi compared to the Ipad which has a 163 ppi. This means that items viewed on the Ipad may have a more pixelated look than the same item viewed in the Nexus. They are both in the 7inch tablet category. The Nexus screen has corning glass (which prevents scratches, but is quite fragil) compared to the Ipad which has Gorilla glass (which is known for it's strength). 

     Price-wise, you can't beat the Nexus 7 2. The 16GB version starts at $230. The price for a 16 GB Ipad starts at $330. Specs show that the Nexus 7 2 has a better screen resolution and is capable of taking pictures while filming video. On the other hand, Ipad has many more camera abilities than the Nexus. 

     Overall, I prefer the Nexus 7 2. I currently own the tablet and I have no complaints about it. It is very snappy with the Snap Dragon processor. The camera is okay.  If you like to do more productivity related tasks, the Ipad may be for you, although if you like to do gaming or social networking, the Nexus 7 is your best bet. Don't get me wrong, both tablets are excellent, I just prefer the Nexus 7. It's time for you to decide which is better for your needs. Good luck!
